Synopsis
Nishikigoi—ornamental koi carp that can fetch auction prices as high as 200 million yen. The renowned production area for these precious fish is Nishikijima Island. Photographer Shinji Tamura moves to the island with his family. Surrounded by lush nature and warm-hearted locals, the island seems like an ideal place to live. But hidden within this small, peaceful island… lies a secret that must never be revealed to the outside world.
